Is this a good deal??

If I had a SIG 229 and wanted the polymer convertible 250, it would probably be a deal for me. As someone who is interested in SIG guns, the sigma brings almost nothing to the table IMO. You'd be better off offering some cash instead, because that deal would sound more attractive (I would think) to someone willing to make the kind of trade you're talking about. So, you might consider just outright selling the sigma first.

Just one opinion... take it for what it's worth.

Thanks for the post. Ya, the sigma was an impulse buy(among others) I was thinking the same as well, sell that first for cash. Again, thank you.

I don't know exactly what a "very used" pistol means, but your figure of $550-650 seems quite high for a SIG P229. I didn't pay that for mine with both the 40 and 357 barrels, and it's in beautiful condition. JMHO, but I wouldn't make the trade.
