stainless barrel with the wood grain, in excellent condition. .243 if it makes a difference. for a private party sell, no scope with it. thanks for your help

  This is not very exacting, but I have been seeing a few new Hawkeyes in various cartridges, going for $500 to $600. Based on that, for a new rifle in excellent condition, asking more than $475 is almost a pipe dream. If you want it to sell, I would stay around $400.

  Not exactly the same but, just to give you a general idea ... I bought the Ruger M77 MKII in .338 WM used for $399. It came with a set of scope rings and a custom made muzzle brake.
