    The scrollwork looks very close to Nimske but there is something bothering me about the style of the indian head and the buffalo. I have no idea who did it.

    That's what is bothering me about the buffalo and especially the indian. They are definitely not done in the style of that period. The indian head almost has a sort of Marvel comics look to it.

    For what its worth, the lack of patina on the brass is what I question. It takes many years for it to loose it shine correctly.
