Bonanza Dies?
Are the Bonanza steel dies any good? Would 15 be a good price for a set of 45acp dies?

They are good and the price is good ONLY if they are CARBIDE dies on straight walled pistol cases you don't need to LUBE the case if your dies are carbide dies You should also buy a TAPER CRIMP die if you load 45ACP 0 -

Bonanza is another of the once very popular reloading companies along with C-H and Pacific (if anyone even remember those two) that just sort of faded away, but are very good quality. Carbide is the key issue these days and plain old steel pistols dies that need lubrication just are not a good value any longer. Decades ago everyone lubed their cases, but when carbide dies at competitive prices were introduced they just swept through the market and now no one wants to go to the trouble of lubing pistol cases any longer...Including me! 0 -

I had a set of C&H of Owen WI. 6x45 dies they were of excellent quality and used them until a few years ago when I sold the upper. 0
