Name this stock

This stock was given to me and I have no clue what it is for. I'd like to make a project out of it. If you guys could help me out at all I'd appreciate it.

Edit: Sorry about the huge pics. You wouldn't believe the trouble I was having. If you have any pointers on that I'd appreciate that too.

  Before you start the project, look carefully, and determine that the stock is not cracked. (Right side/interior) as viewed in the first photo.

  Looks to me to be a 10/22 Magnum stock.
