need date of build for 646xxx-4. thank you in advance! is the -4 the code for full choke?

  Believe it's 1956 and 4 is full choke.

  markpixs has it. I know you didn't ask but, FYI: My book says:
  0 is cyl
  1 is imp cyl
  2 is mod
  3 is imp mod
  4 is full
  S is skeet
  I've seen 1, 2, and 4 on barrels but not the other numbers/letter.
