I have a .22 ss Single Six with both cylinders and was wondering does one cal shoot better than the other? I thought the .22 and .22 mag were different diameters...thanks guys...bull

Just the cases. 0 -
The .22 Mag bullet is a slightly larger diameter as well. And the convertible Single Six is bored for the larger bullet. I've own several NM Single Sixes, and in my experience all shot best w/.22 mag. However 2 of them shot very, possibly just as well w/.22LR also. And one had a noticeable loss of accuracy w/.22LR. 0 -

I have a early stainless and found the mag. cyl. shot a little better that the LR. As stated the bore is a little larger for the 22 mags. Try different brands of 22LR in yours. You will find some shoot better than others. 0 -
