MR1, Benelli
Benelli's MR1 in 223. Anyone familar with its accuracy?
Is the MR1 a version of the R1? and how accurate was the R1?
My unfortunately being a subject of California's stupid regulations makes the AR type of rifle a problem so I am looking at the Benelli.
Any information greatly appreciated!

I know this is an old thread. But the Benelli MR1 is now available to california. It just cost more! 0 -
Benelli makes two versions of the MR1. The version with the pistol grip and the one without the pistol grip for Calif. I bought this one a few months ago when they were offering a $100 rebate.. It is very accurate with just the iron sights. I have not shot it yet with a scope.

I'm surprised the MR1 with the CA legal stock is not more popular here. I know they cost a bit much, but not a whole lot more than we spend building ARs with fixed 10 round magazines or "no bad features" & using hi caps. You'd think a semi auto that uses hi cap AR mags, drops them free and is of the "evil black rifle" type would sell well here. I see very few even from the stores that push ARs, FALs, AKs and all the other "is that legal here?" stuff. 0
