Need help Identifying a stevens model pistol

    It looks like the Stevens Maynard Junior No 15 rifle action and the partial markings agree.

    I don't know if Stevens ever made a pistol on the M.J. action; it may be a homebuilt. If so, it is not really legal but I doubt the revenuers will come down on you for it. Maybe.

    I appreciate everyones quick replies to this, that could explain why it was hidden up in the attic instead of being taken care of like an old gun deserves. I hate to have to get rid of it, but I try to follow the law to a tee.
