Harrington & Richardson Ultra Bolt 300 30-06...

Can anyone tell me if they're any good or not?

I understand they were made back in the 60's???

Decent utility rifles???

FN Belgium action on the one I just picked up and hardly shot at all...

Looks like a decent gun, just hope they have good barrels....anyone in the know 'bout them???

  If your H&R rifle has an FN action, it more than likely will have a Douglas Premium barrel. They were excellent shooters.

  I bought it for DONOR to build a 7x57mm Mauser...but the rifleing is sharp and bore is bright, just can't bring myself to chop it[:(]
  
  For $500 I think I got me a steal and another 30-06 in the safe...
  
  Is there any way to actually tell if it's certainly a Douglas Premium barrel?
