Hi its a 54 colt ruger 4-5/8 barell and i want to get the most out of it i only have 50 of the bullets 0 -
Is the revolver a Black Hawk or Vaquero? Is it a new model Vaquero? Are the bullets lead or jacketed? What do you want to do with this load?

As has been posted, we need to know what type of Ruger 45 Colt you have. There is a great difference in frame strenth. You need to work up to hot loads, I've used 50 bullets just fine tunning a load. Just because they have maximum velocity doesn't mean they are going to shoot straight. 0
