    It's a .30-30,but it will be a little while before I see the gun again. I bought it for a friend of mine who wanted one, so I waited till I found a nice clean pre-64. We had dinner at his place last week, and I gave him a 4 inch Official Police for a home defense gun, and he brought it out. He also has an Old Army in blue with a Lawrence full flap Cavalry- style holster. The holster alone is worth $200.00!
    We're in Cleveland,0 degree wind chill, 2ft snow on ground, so we'll wait till spring to shoot outdoors again.
    P.S; even though I load .38's, I gave him 2 boxes of factory, in case he needs it before we can get to the range.
