COLT 357 PYTHON
I have a Colt 357 Python that I inherited a few years back that I am quite proud of and would like to know more about it, year made, value, etc.Not that it is going anywhere!
It is nickle plated, has reddish handles, they are so perfect they look like plastic, it is in perfect condition, in the original styrofoam box with the Colt cardboard box,it has several papers with it.
1. Colt Python instruction manual, this has a 1978 date on it.
2. Colt Companion handbook.
3. Colt authorized repair station listing.
4. An NRA postcard for a complimentary issue of American Hunter or Rifleman.
5. A letter from C. E. Warner congratulating the buyer on his purchase.
A label on the end of the box states it is a 4" barrel, Medallion Model I3641,ser# V or U 88668.
It is a beautiful weapon that is a dream to shoot, the trigger pull is silken compared to my Smith and Taurus revolvers, any info would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post pictures, I'm not good on that.

tnrider..... I'll post a pic for you since it sounds like your 4" Python is just about identical to my 4".
