"churchill" scope

I have a recently manufactured 6x56 hunting riflescope (w/o box or papers) marked CHURCHILL, and nothing else - no maker, no country of origin. Appears to have 26mm main tube. It has Euro-type big square posts plus crosshairs reticle. Internet search turns up nothing. Who made this?

  Sight unseen, more then likely Chinese. They seem to deliberately mark stuff with what appear to be anglo-saxon names, to disguise country of origin. It might have been brought in as a gray market import, or slipped through customs in a shipping container with out the required C of O markings?

  Chinese is my guess as well.
