Friend ask me to look a piece he had and tell him what it was.
Stevens break down with 44 shot stamped on top'
I advised it was a shotgun that possible shot 2 in. 410 and 44 shells like the Game Getter. Am I correct ?

  410 and 44 aren't the same bore diameter. Can you get photos?

  It's probably for the 44 shot ctg. It is the same as the 44-40 rifle ctg only loaded with a hollow wooden bullet or paper encasement and shot.
