Does anyone remember back some years ago , whether or not Speer made a 129gr. RN bullet for the .264" dia. 6.5 mm caliber?? What was is designated ? 0 -
I have an early "60's" reference that shows one made by Hornady but not Speer. It doesn't show a catalog or manufacturing number. This same reference shows Speer jumping from 120gr. to 140gr. offerings and Hornady jumping from 100gr. to 129gr. 0 -
Hornady did make a 129gr. RN about the same time , Speer also did as I understand , but can't find any detail to it .thanks for the info 0 -
1979 and 1987 SPEER Manuals only show 120 and 140 grain Spitzers. 0 -
Both Speer and HOrnady have 800 numbers and great folks to talk to.
Give em a ring.0 -
I finished loading out some old 129 gr. bullets in my 6.5x55 last year. But, I remember they were spitzers not RN's. 0
