I have an early "60's" reference that shows one made by Hornady but not Speer. It doesn't show a catalog or manufacturing number. This same reference shows Speer jumping from 120gr. to 140gr. offerings and Hornady jumping from 100gr. to 129gr.

1979 and 1987 SPEER Manuals only show 120 and 140 grain Spitzers.

Both Speer and HOrnady have 800 numbers and great folks to talk to.
    Give em a ring.

I finished loading out some old 129 gr. bullets in my 6.5x55 last year. But, I remember they were spitzers not RN's.
