120 ga. marlin

a friend of mine has a marlin model 120 12 gauge pump shotgun in very nice shape. i've never seen one before this. did they make many of these?

  Unless I am mistaken, the 120 is a budget knock off of the Winchester Mod. 12. Unfortunately there weren't nearly as many made as the Winchesters.
  The 120 Magnum I have has proven to be a rugged and reliable shotgun and other than my nasty habit of short shucking, has suffered no stoppages.

  I like mine,dont know how many they made, but they where Mfg.1971-85.some of them came with a 38 inch full choke barrel,and a 40 inch full choke barrel like mine...
