20 ga. double barrell Crescent Firearms, Norwich C
I have always wondered when this old 20 ga. double barrelled shotgun was manufactured and what it may be woth. My grandfather gave it to me when I was 13 years old. It holds alot of sentimental value. As a kid I shot alot of grouse with it and it is still in useable condition.
Manufactured by Crescent Firearms co., Norwich Connecticut.
20 ga. doublr barrelled S/N 403652
Pull back the hammers, dual triggers
Breaks down into three sections.
I wish I could send a pic but camera is broke down.
Could anyone provide any info.
Thanks!

If it has fluid steel barrels, it was most likely manufactured sometime between 1914 - 1930. Crescent was bought by the Savage Arms Company in late 1930.
Being that it is a 20 gauge, that adds a bit to the value, but as with all old garden variety guns, the graded condition is the most important factor in determining its value. To give you that information, we really need to see a series of clear and well illuminated pictures of it.0 -
According to the information I have available it was made in 1919. 0
