What is a good turkey gun? I would want a 12 gauge, 3 1/2 inch chanber, and fully camouflaged. I might put a redot or 1.5-5 power scope in it. The scope would be matching camo.

welcome and the question is how much do you want to spend, Mossberg has some nice ones not to expensive and the price goes up from there. I have a Mossberg 835 camo that shoots 3 1/2 shell which I hardly ever use.

Also, what is legal where you are? A super accurate 22 or 22mag and headshots... if rifles are legal where you live/hunt (they are in Florida).

Can't go wrong with a Remington 870 SuperMag. It will handle 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 in shells! The Mossberg 835 is a good choice too.

If rifles are legal in your state the Savage 24 combo guns are a good choice. I have one in 223 and 3 inch 12 gauge. The rifle barrels are accurate and you have the shotgun for close in work. Makes a good solution for coyotes too where you may call them in close or get long shots too.

a+ on the 870, 3'' is ok but think 3-1/2 are over kill i still only use 2-3/4 shells, cheaper and still get the job done
