J Stevens Crackshot 22 Long rifle

My wife was given this Stevens single shot Model Crack-shot .22 long rifle by her father after he died.
I am looking for any information on this as to when it may have been manufactured, or what it could be worth. It looks old.
The only Serial # I can find is B53.
Could any one help me ? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Stevens manufactured two distinctly different styles of single shot rifle with the name "Crack Shot" on them. The first was a Tip-Up style action (introduced in the 1870s and discontinued in the 1880s), whereas the second was a rolling block style, operated by a lever on the right-hand side of the action. The later style was manufactured circa 1900 - 1913.

    Unless it is in superb condition, most Stevens Crack Shot rifles are very hard pressed to bring more than a few hundred $$.

    It would be helpful if you posted a few pictures of your Stevens rifle.

    The one with the lever on the side is the Crackshot model 16. There is a third model, Crackshot model 26, made later, opens with an underlever. Condition is everything on these. Could be from under $100 to over $500. Pictures would help. Mint bore is necessary for higher end. Most have average to junk bores.

    After ID'ing exactly which variation it is, the best that can be done to date, is aprrox dates of MFG of that model.
    Fire at Stevens factory destroyed most records in 1920's.
