biakal 12 ga ?

just picked up a 12 ga. single shot break action.in good shape. 2 3/4 chamber fixed full choke.on the side it has made in ussr.mod # is IJ-18E.is this an early one. do the newer ones say made in russia?

  Remington picked up the Biakal line and now sells it as their Spartan line. They are / say made in Russia.

  I have the same gun but with adjustable chokes. I've been very pleased with it.
