Any suggestions on a Flash Hole Deburring Tool? Are the RCBS tools alright? Thanks Robert

These are 2 separate tools. The primer pocket uniformer as made by several manufactures ( RCBS, Sinclair and others) uniforms the pocket to an exact depth. I have one with both small primer and large primer cutter on the same tool but don't know the maker. The case mouth deburring tools have the inside chamfer and outside deburring on each end. These are made by Wilson, RCBS,Forster, Lyman and Redding. They work on all calibers from .17 to .45 cases.

Are you asking about the RCBS Trim Mate Case Prep Center?

    http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=?saleitemid=565099

If yes, Midway is not the only one to carry these. Many reloading websites list them.

    Best.

    Joshmb1982,

I own one of the case mate prep centers and I find that I don't really use it much anymore. About all it gets used for is cleaning primer pockets and deburring flash holes.

I chamfer and deburr the outside necks by hand. It was neat when I got it but now i just like doing it by hand because it give me one more chance to inspect the case before loading.

I sold mine,..it just wasn't accurate. I use individual tools for each step, with much better results

You might want to try the RCBS Primer Pocket Swager.
I found it to be easy and fast to use.

for preimer pocket uniforming and flash hole deburring, I use the Sinclair tools. They make a drill adaptor for the tools also. I use my 18V dewalt.

I use the rcbs PRIMER POCKET SWAGER that installs in the reloading press, has small and large (swagers) de-crimpers! You can review it at the rcbs site! It's bullet proof and removes the crimp by pressing the brass! I've done several 1000 223 military brass! I had to add a large washer over the swager (that fits into the shellholder of the press) so as to eject the brass when the press ram is returned to home resting position on some press's! You will get the idea when you start using one if the brass hangs up in the swager due to snug fit AFTER swaging!
