.30 Cal. Magnum Die
I came across an old die set in some reloading stuff my dad had. It was marked .30 cal magnum and was in an RCBS unlabeled box. I don't think the die was an RCBS though, it may have been a redding die. Is this for a 300 win mag or something else? I would imagine it was from the 70s.

If it is marked only .30 cal magnum, it's probably a .300 H&H. For years that was the only .30 magnum.
But--Maybe not!0 -
I think I am going to put this in the experts forum too. I am trying to think of anyone I know that would have or had a 300 H&H and it just doesn't fit. One of my stepbrother's uncles has a 300 win mag. 0 -
If anyone is interested, I got to check the dies out again. They are lyman dies. The sizing die says 300 win mag. The seater die says 30 cal magnum. 0 -
If your seater die has a vertically sliding sleeve inside, that is their "Precision Alignment (P/A)" model, which is easier to use and better than a regular seating die - AND can be adjusted to work for ALL belted Magnun .30's. I might have a set of instructions for it (somewhere). 0
