Lyman Plainsman Leaky Frizzen
My priming powder keeps disappearing while hunting. Any suggestions?

hold it horizontal while carrying, it is a pain but it will keep it in.......... 0 -
1. Try for a better fit between the pan and frizzen (may not be possible).
2. Wax or grease to fill the gaps, which also waterproofs.
3. Epoxy along the edge of the pan which should last for a season.
4. Solder along the edge of the pan which should be a permanent fix.0 -
A thin layer of JB Weld along the mating edges, let cure, and then file down until there is a perfect fit. Color the gray to a black color with a Sharpie and you are done. Don't go overboard when putting on the JB. The probability is that you have a tiny mismatch in the mating surfaces. So, just put on a THIN layer and then use a fine flat file and some emery paper to shape it down to the perfect surface. Have fun. [:D]
The alternative is to just wait until you see a possible shot, and then prime the pan.0
