What the Differance ?

Can one of you guy's out there please tell me the differance between a field grade shotgun and a skeet gun they both seem to look a like. Is there a differance in the drop in the stock or is it something else thanks for any help

  Field guns usually have tighter chokes like trap ones, skeet is usually more open choked. With screw in chokes no one cares anymore. The wood on skeet/trap guns is usually fancier and can be a different drop.

  Shorter barrel. More drop.
