    brownell's sells Remington parts. Give them a call.

    The factory trap stock uses a rubber recoil pad that must be installed & fitted after the stock is attached to the receiver.

    EDIT: Stock removal requires a long, thick screwdriver; unless you buy a special tool from Brownells, you must make something yourself. A 5/8" spade drill bit with the point ground off will work with a socket wrench, or you can grind a big screwdriver to fit.

    i have a field grade rem. 1100 that i tried at trap,i never got over 15-17 at best. barrel was a 28 inch with rem choke. at a gun show i bought a used(ex condition) older fixed full choke 30 inch trap barrel with a higher rib and i have shot several strait 25,s with it. i am going to try it at sporting clays soon,it sure shoots where i,m looking. eastbank.

    This not related to the trap stock, but I am having trouble getting the stock off my 1100. Its got a bolt with a large like screw but I can not get it loose. Any help out there.

    The stock nut is threaded on the action spring tube..excessive force could twist the tube..apply some kroil or other type of penetrating oil, let it sit overnight and then use a large screwdriver with a blade that fills the slot..

    I got the rem 1100 stock off. I went to Harbor Frieght and found a package of six spad bits and one of them worked great
