brownell's sells Remington parts. Give them a call. 0 -
The factory trap stock uses a rubber recoil pad that must be installed & fitted after the stock is attached to the receiver.

EDIT: Stock removal requires a long, thick screwdriver; unless you buy a special tool from Brownells, you must make something yourself. A 5/8" spade drill bit with the point ground off will work with a socket wrench, or you can grind a big screwdriver to fit.0 -
i have a field grade rem. 1100 that i tried at trap,i never got over 15-17 at best. barrel was a 28 inch with rem choke. at a gun show i bought a used(ex condition) older fixed full choke 30 inch trap barrel with a higher rib and i have shot several strait 25,s with it. i am going to try it at sporting clays soon,it sure shoots where i,m looking. eastbank. 0 -

This not related to the trap stock, but I am having trouble getting the stock off my 1100. Its got a bolt with a large like screw but I can not get it loose. Any help out there. 0 -
The stock nut is threaded on the action spring tube..excessive force could twist the tube..apply some kroil or other type of penetrating oil, let it sit overnight and then use a large screwdriver with a blade that fills the slot..
