sights for heritage arms 22 cal.
thinkin about getting the gun for plinkin. so what would be a good cheap red-dot sight for this gun for say 25 to 50 yrds? ive read alittle about the adco sure-shot scope but it sounds like its meant more for paintball. not sure if that would have the distance that im lookin for.

Cheap red dot sights leave a lot to be desired. The red dot is hard to see in normal sunlight and is to big in diameter for any sort good shooting. Up close for combat type shooting not to bad, at 50 yds your target is going to have to be the size of a garbage can. 0 -
i was afraid youd say that lol. ok so how about just for 25 yrds? 0 -
Spend a little more money and get a better dot sight.
www.midwayusa.com has some on sale now.
They have a Adco 25mm with a 3moa dot for $62.10, #996124 and a Adco
50mm,3moa dot For $84.60, #845871.
That size dot will cover 3" at 100yds. and 1 1/2" at 50.
Go to the web site and look at all the dot sights there.
If dot sights are so bad they wouldn't be on almost every M-16 in service, and those guys shoot at 200yds and over.0
