REMINGTON 11-87
Hello all, can someone please tell me the difference in the 11-87 premier and the other models? Is it merely cosmetic?...Thanks in advance!

I just bought a used 11-87 premeir skeet.I was told by the seller that I could shoot 3" shells even though the barrell states 2 3/4".Seller said he has shot 3"shells. I put both sizes in mag and manually cycled the bolt.and they both chamber and eject tha same.
Has anyone here ever fired 3" shells?
Are there any barrels that can interchange?0 -
Every Premier I have seen had gold inlay's. I think they are fitted a little better than field guns.
Edit Have not seen Premier on any either. Last one in my hands was an 11F, scroll work, two gold, one silver inlays.0 -
This one doesnt... it only says premier on the left side of the receiver 0 -
Mine says Premier and has a low contour barrel, bird killing machine.
No gold inlay tho, so not sure what the difference is, besides the low gloss satin finish on the stock.0 -
I think it is a shiny wood stock and a light contour barrel. The mechanics are all the same...like CSI said...bird killing machines! 0 -
