Where can I get scope cap gaskets?
I have a vintage Lyman Challenger scope that needs new elevation and windage rubber scope cap gaskets. Does anyone know where I can get gaskets that will fit? The old ones measure about 13/16 diameter X 1/32 thick.

Are those gaskets a little rubber O-ring? If so, then you may find something suitable at an auto parts store. 0 -
The gaskets are not O-ring type. They are flat. 0 -
Hardware stores probly have them in the plumbing section.
They are usually a rubber or rubber/fiber/teflon material. They are in the faucet rebuilt area.
All different sizes and thin like you need.
Your talking about the thin washer under the caps for cross hair adjustment, yes?0 -
If you can e-mail me with the ID, OD, and the thickness, I can have a couple or three sets cut at work, and send to you. Actually it would work best if you can send me one, so I can laser scan it to the cutter.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up finding some O-rings that fit perfectly. 0
