Remington LT-20 Chamber ?
Greetings, Can a 2-3/4" Barrel for a Remington 1100 LT-20 be machined to accept a 3" shell? Thanks

well it may be able to but it would be cheaper/easier/safer to just buy a 3" barrell or whole gun.
and if the Lt-20 is not a 3" mag then no barrel change will fix that problem. you will need a 3" reciver0 -
tough finding the magnum barrel, though i have found plenty of 2-3/4" barrels. 0 -
well is it a Lt-20 that takes 3" shells? i own a Lt-20 and did not think that they would accept a 3" shell. have you called remington? 0 -

ok i was not 100% sure they made the Lt-20 in a mag version. Try calling Remington they might have some in stock0 -

Yes it can, but you will most likely have to grind off the ejector to gain access for the reamer...When the ejector is replaced ( use a dab of weld metal), it will have to be located further toward the end of the barrel tang to allow the empty shell to clear the ejection port. The ejection ports on the mag. and non-mag. are the same size.....

Just put a tube in it. Easy fix. 0 -
Is there a gas port issue and after the above modification will the gun cycle with all 20 gauge loads? 0
