Replacement stock?
I have the 1950ish BRNO 22F small ring 98 sporting rifle with the full stock. Some previous owner cut about 4" off the butt and then later a badly mismatched filler piece was added. Any suggestions on where I might find a factory replacement or a stock maker who can duplicate this for me? Thanks.

I can't say where to find a factory stock for that rifle.
I can't imagine how much it would cost to have one made.
I would knock off the wood spacer and put one on made out of black ebonite or such. I have seen pictures of British safari rifles spliced out that way and they did not look half bad.0 -

He doesn't have a website, or I'd post the link.0 -
Doc,
The chances of finding a 'factory' stock is less to none, although it could happen by pure luck of course.
Your best bet is a stock maker and Donny is certainly one of the better ones to talk to.

Try Evans Compton in Clemmons NC 336-766-0271. He does great work and is reasonably priced. If he dosent have the pattern for your stock you can send him yours and he'll duplicate it, and if you send him the gun he can fully inlet it for you. 0
