S&W 32 long cal

i am hoping to help a friend id his revolver.S&W,no model#, ser#4715xx,32 long cal,6-shot, approx.4in barrel,5-screw small frame,with pearl grips(plain without medallions),unshrouded ejector rod with a block in front of it.cond is about 85%.no S&W grips.can anyone tell me the approx age,model,value.thank you.

  Sounds like a .32 Hand ejector third model to me made 1917-1942 I'm guessing that one around 1940 the serial no. top out at 534532 in 1942

  These little Hand Ejectors were very well made and nicely finished
  with the S&W high gloss blue.
  Without photos approximate value can't be estimated.
  General Patton had a fondness for pearl handled revolvers.
