If it's the same outfit in the PI that makes the Rock Island 45's, we have had a lot of posts about them over the years. Due a search using Rock Island as your search term. They are also very common on the net, GOOGLE them.

That would be Armscor (Arms Corporation of the Phillipines), the largest firearms manufacturer in Southeast Asia.

Some of their guns are very good quality. But, most customers order based on their cost, so most production is not high quality.

ok, thx guys. ive been doing alot of research on them . but i get Bersa sometimes, Ria, Metro all that. heard there really quality guns for the price, so i ordered one. so if it doesnt work out then like the old saying goes "life goes on". just wondered if anyone had or heard of them on here. once again thx.
