Winchester 94 Rifle: Updated info # Short Rifles?

Is there updated information for the number of Winchester 94 Short Rifles Produced: 20", 22", etc.? Bert has listed a lot of information for the W94, but I do not find this info. Or for the number of Carbines less than 20". Madis shows 733 W94 Rifle barrels shorter than standard before 1932, and 978 before 1943.

  Madis's published information is not accurate concerning this topic, and his numbers are way too low. I have the survey information in my research notes and will post it late tonight. From memory, Winchester manufactured nearly (2800) 20-inch and (2300) 22-inch Short Rifles by the time serial number 353,999 was reached in May of 1907.

  OK, I found my research notes, and I took this directly from my future article on the Model 1894...
  
  "A 20-inch octagon barrel was the most common "Short" length, with a total of 2,980 made, and it was closely followed by the 2,252 that were made in the 22-inch length." The total number of "short" rifles manufactured in the 1 - 353999 serial number range was 7,023. My estimate is that 18,000 "short" rifles were manufactured through the year 1937 ("Rifles" were discontinued as of January 1938). That is approximately 20X the number that Madis claimed were made.
  
  In regards to your question about the short barreled Carbines, there were (409) Trapper Carbines manufactured by serial number 353999. I have surveyed several hundred more in the 354000 - 1352066 serial number range, and according to my extrapolation tables, close to 15,000 Trapper Carbines were manufactured.
  
  While "Short" Rifles and Trapper Carbines are not exactly common, they are most certainly not "rare".
