Could anyone tell me the year Remington started making the XR 100 and the year they stopped making or is it still being made? Any info is appreciated. Terrill

  Introduced in 2005 discontinued in 2007.
  This according to Remingtons Web site.

  Those were some very nice shooting rifles. Some of the better factory production of late. I had the chance to try one that with Remington 223 factory ammo, 62 grain match hollow point, it would hold well within 1/2MOA, and quite frequently better.
