Lyman Alaskan Scope information

Hello, I have a Lyman "Alaskan" All Weather 21/2 power scope, 7/8" tube,W/the cross hair reticle, with Redfield single split rings. All correct Lyman orgin script,Pat numbers,etc. However, there is no serial number to the right of "Alaskan" on the tube as seems to be normal on other "Alaskan" scopes that i have seen. It is in excellent condition as far as finish with little wear showing. I have gone over it thoroughly, inside and out with a jewelers loupe and have not located any numbers. This has been in the family for at least 50 years coming to me from Uncles estate in 05' via my Grandfather before that, so i know where it has been. Any information on this old scopes orgin would be appreciated!...Thanks
