Sig P238/Colt mustang mags interchangeable?

I have read for some owners that the Colt Mustang mag will work fine in a Sig P238. I also read that it will not feed reliably by others.

Any thoughts/experience insight on this?

  For what its worth, supposedly the SIG guns are actually built on the older Colt tooling (or at least part of them are).
  
  Ultimately magazine reliability may vary depending on the exact gun, the exact magazine, and the exact load.
  
  I say there is only one way to know for sure, and that's to try a Colt mag in a Sig gun with your favored ammo type and find out.

  I'm carrying a sig with a colt mag in it right now. It's an original colt mag. no problems.
  i had some issues with aftermarket magus and don't use 'em anymore.

  This is an older thread, so has anyone else tried the Colt Mustang mag in the P238 Sig? I just bought a P238 and am needing some extra mags. Thanks

  The Colt mags are working 100% so far. Zero problems and 1/2 the price of the Sig mags.
