New rifle in 25-20?

Last ones that I am aware of, were made by Marlin back in the 90's. 25-20 is not exactly a popular cartridge nowadays. If you don't reload it's going to cost you a bundle to shoot it.

Marlin made some lever rifles in 25-20 not too long ago. Maybe some still new around.

A 32-20 might give you more satisfaction according to Barnes of Cartridges of the World. He claimed the 32-20 was better of the two for any purpose.
Aside from ammo availability, bullet selection for the 25-20 is poor if you are a handloader.
If you're set on that caliber, look for a Remington Model 25 pump gun. It's a dandy gun made in both calibers. The 25-20 is less sought after by collectors and will be cheaper.
This was Barnes' favorite (and mine) rifle.

If you like the chambering there's always the T/C Contender or Encore single shot. I have one in 25.35 WCF and it's quite the little shooter, loves the Sierra 75 grain JHPs and Hornady VMax. I suspect a 25.20 might do better with a 60 or 65 grain bullet. Obviously very little recoil and pleasant, economical to shoot.
