Browning BL-22 Serial No. ?

I cannot figure out the year of this gun, its a bl-22 deluxe serial no. 37B10009. All help appreciated.

  I'd say it was made after 2000. The web site only goes to '98.

  It's kind of confusing, but the Browning serialization from the mid 60's to mid 70's was quite messed up. Even their web site doesn't get it right.
  
  "B" is the model designation. 10009 is the actual serial. 37 = 1973 which is the date.
