I searched for one to shoot steel shot in for my nephew. We finally decided to purchase another 1100 and sold his. I found one in great shape for 450.00. Sell yours for around the same money. Have fun on the search. 0 -
There is a left hand barrel for the Remington 1100 on another forum, it has a skeet choke on it , I do not know if that would be a big deal. I just want a full or modifed choke. What do you think ? 0 -

Since there so hard to come by, get it. Either make do with the skeet choke, or have a gunsmith rework it for screw in chokes.0 -

I think that is good advise, my old barrel does not look that bad after all 0 -
Please be careful smithing a Remington 1100 barrel for choke tubes. Everything I've ever been told is that the wall thickness isn't really up to it.
I, too, was looking for an 1100 LH barrel and had to be patient. I found the right one after about a year of looking.0 -
I checked with a gunsmith and he said it did not have the thickness needed to put in removable chokes 0
