Dealer paper work wrong
If a dealer fills out paperwork for a firearm how close does it have to be on paper?
like when you buy a handgun and get home only to read the paperwork says three inch barrel and you bought a two inch barrel.

Not really a problem . If at a later date you wanted a Factory letter The letter would show the correct length of barrel . IF say you had a First generation Colt SAA with a special length barrel then a factory letter would make this a high $$$ pistol [^][:D]. but if you had a dealer leter with right or wrong barrel length noted NO ONE would CARE. As long as the make and serial number is correct is the important thing. Who's to say that you buy a 3" barrel gun and turn around and put a 2" barrel on it. Just my 2 cents worth. 0
