O.F mossberg 352KC .22 mag issue

i have a mossy 352kc(i have no idk what KC means) but my prob is the i load the mag, insert it rack slide, load first shell, and then mag slides out after 1st cycle. and does not want to stay up. Now granted that is only when/how i have noticed it 1 time at the range of use. but does seem loose when inserting the mag in all the time.

Is this a mag issue or is it a gun issue. If gun issue what internal part might be wore out, if mag issue does anyone mage repo's for it. i would like to get up and running again as this was my Grandmother's and it will be son's soon.

  Either you got the wrong magazine, or the rifle is missing the latch that retains the magazine.
  
  If it's just the magazine, get the correct replacement from Vic Havlin, who is a expert on Mossberg. He carries a lot of Mossberg replacement parts/magazines.
  
  If it's the latch you might have to go to Gun Parts Corp or another on-line dealer, for a part from a cannabalized model 352. They probably have been out of production for 50 years.

  ok thanks. I do think it is the right mag because it does stay in most of the way just does not stay latched in, and grandma bought brand new and used from time to time and stored for LONG time.

  Victor (Mr. Mossberg) and Cheryl Havlin- havlinsales.com are two very nice people that as a sideline run the Mossberg Collectors Association. They sell parts and accessories for Mossbergs. There was a 352 K, then a 352K (a) and (b) and (c)
