Montana gold .55 grain 223 load data
I can't seem to find load data specifically for these montana gold bullets. Anyone have a source? Nine of the manuals I have list them. Please help! Thanks in advance!

I meant 'none' of my manuals. 0 -
Zero of mine, either.
I think you are going to have to muster up your courage and load them like any other generic 55 grain .224" bullet.0 -
Go with the standard starting load and work up. Then let us know how it went so the rest of us don't have to do it. 0 -
Their website doesn't describe the bullets very well, but it implies that the 55-gr FMJ bullets are standard cup/core of gilding metal and lead. If so, you can probably use generic load data for that style bullet. Do start low, as always.
One caution: mic the bullets for diameter. I have seen some "bargain" bullets that were as much as .226" and they tended to raise pressures significantly.0
