Montana xtreme cleaning rod

I have used the montana xtreme bore bruhes and they are great. Thinking about purchasing one of their cleaning rods and maybe trying their solvent also. Has anyone used these and if so, what do you think about them?

  Oddly, I find it really hard to get excited by a cleaning rod, even one as overengineered as the "Montana xtreme".
  
  I've never tried this rod, and at $50 a pop, I'd consider this rod to be "xtremely overpriced".
  
  I just fail to see the "problem" with my $6 cleaning rod that this $50 rod fixes.
  
  On solvents, never tried this one either, though since it appears to be price-competitive with a number of other similar products on the market, at least I'd be willing to.

  Montana Xtreme is a very strong copper solvent, follow the directions and you will get all the nasty copper buildup out of your barrel..
