marlin 22 range rifle

Saw a marlin single shot bolt action 22 rifle,it has a gold colored coin in the stock and it said range rifle on it,or range something on it..and its not a old gun..i was told not many were made?? it shoots shorts,long,and long rifle.has anyone seen or heard of one these before...i cant find any info on them..........

  It's hard to say. Marlin made a lot of them with different coins in the stocks.
