S&W .38 Double Action Revolver Question
Hello!
I have been trying to figure out the assembly of this S&W .38 Double action 2nd model revolver for some time now. After trying to install all the parts that are supposed to be correct to this revolver, I believe that some of the parts may be incorrect for this particular gun. Any help in identifying the culprits would be very appreciated. I don't think that the trigger spring looks original, but I don't know. The trigger has the spring and plunger, and the sear doesn't look like any on the schematics I've seen. It is definitely a second model with the serial # 408XX.
Any insights or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Have you checked Numrich Arms for a diagram of the revolver? I think it cost some money about $7 or $8 bucks. But well worth it. 0 -
Hi, I have the same gun and I believe you have corretc parts, even the spring. It needs patience, but pls. send me better photo of your hammer.
