If you can get $600.00-700.00 for it, feel you have done well. The Norinco's have a bad reputation for soft reciever's, and recievers that are out of spec.

Norinco made an M14 Sporter; only Springfield Armory Inc makes an M1A.

No one makes an M14-clone receiver that is USGI milspec. NO ONE.

A USGI M14 parts kit IN EXCELLENT CONDITION is worth $1,200 alone. A well used &/or altered parts kit is worth substantially less, depending upon the skill or lack thereof of the person assembling them.

If I were to buy a rifle such as you describe (that is, without photos or a detailed description), I would pay $400-500. If I were to sell it, I would try to get $1,500.

    Prob $1200

Why would anyone swap the oprod or barrel?
