What the Heck are these!?!
Found these in a box of range brass. Headstamp is SNC 9mm 95. I've never seen anything like it. What kind of ammo was this???

they are simunitions that have a small paint/chalk ball used for law training ..requires a special barrel and slide to put on firearm..ie paint ball for cops [;)] 0 -
Cool. Are they reusable for anything? Brass is too short to be loaded back up with 9mm's. Are they just trash or should I hang onto them? 0 -
Check length. May be suitable for 9mm Kurz (AKA .380).

Not suitable for Kurz. Check rim diameter. Those are .394" and Kurz are .374" Same with the body for a ways up.

All I have is the spent casings. Wouldn't do me any good to buy the conversion. Just because I know where they came from doesn't mean I can get more...[B)] 0 -
Sim rounds is correct, and the other poster is correct in they're usable only for that stuff, not conversions to regular rounds. We use them at work for active shooter training, etc. In my experience they usually work very well for a few shots, then the barrel will gum up and the paint capsule will shred in the barrel making them useless until they're swabbed out(like a paint-ball gun when a ball breaks int he barrel, same thing) Either that or they jam a lot, making your ability to clear the stoppage ("tap-rack-bang") a priority. 0 -
