  "Gasper Arizaga was lower end maker that joined up with DIARM, they folded when DIARM folded in 1987. With spanish gun of this period the saying of judge the gun not the maker applies. Some low end makers did a fine job of making some good guns and sometimes they did not. A lot of imported guns at this time were known for "Soft Steel". This is not really true, makers would take short cuts to produce guns to the price the importer directed or to specs the importer wanted. The best way to cut corners was to skip on the guts of the gun, parts not hardened, rough casting/milling and on and on. These guns looked great on the outside and that's what buyers wanted."
  
  "Aside from AYA, there are some illustrious names on the list of DIARM members. The Arizagas are a famous gunmaking name in Eibar, and Jack O'Connor wrote glowingly (and repeatedly) of a 28-gauge that was made for him by Eusebio Arizaga. Gaspar Arizaga was a company founded in 1895, and as early as 1915 was producing an export catalogue in English, Spanish, and French displaying its line of single-shots, and boxlock and side-lock doubles, the latter with and without hammers." (p. 70)
  
  The Arizagas certainly were a gunmaking family; Weiland references Carmel, Eusebio, Gaspar, Jose, and Hijos de F[rancis?] Arizaga.
  
  Value of these shotguns is all over the board depending on the opinions offered and by whom but the range is from $200.00 to $1,000.00 based on the model and the quality of the engraving, wood, etc.

  There were a couple of shotgun specific collectors sites on the net. Because of their strict gun laws a number of knowledgeable European collectors frequent them, as shotguns are the only firearms most can legally collect.
  
  GOOGLE, "Shotgun World" and "Double Gun Journal", you might have some luck finding some specific values for your shotgun.
