Is the price difference justified for the M2?

  What is the price difference where you are?
  
  I have an M1 with 18" and 28" barrels, extended magazine, and both stocks, and use it for everything. It has never failed to cycle, even with my extremely light 1 oz loads.
  
  As I don't plan on shooting loads that require manually cycling the action, typically LEO special purpose loads, I personally don't see the need.

  I'm looking an all around bird gun (pheasant duck goose turkey),and I can get a used M1for $500 and a M2 for $800. Does it justify the price.
